@mattvsjapanJapanese people will also applaud if you can just use chopsticks and say おいしい, so the bar is not that high. 😉 But you make an interesting point, I agree that it’s pretty easy to estimate someone’s proficiency from very little data.
My lady has been harassing me about eating Japanese food, including potato chips, with chopsticks... So here we are... Verdict: I really like it! It has the same texture as Lays. It's sweet and salty. I wouldn't call the sweetness "honey," but it's still おいしい 😋
